Key Responsibilities

• Deliver 1-on-1 physical therapy treatment sessions for 1-2 patients per hour, focusing on individualized care based on specific diagnostic needs.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques to develop and implement effective therapy plans, incorporating manual therapies, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation.
• Continuously assess and adjust patient treatment plans according to progress and feedback, ensuring optimal rehabilitation outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient progress and treatment plans using the WebPT system, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure comprehensive treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will engage with a diverse range of patients, primarily those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Each patient's path to recovery will be unique, and your ability to customize therapy approaches based on individual goals and capabilities will be essential to their healing process.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current, active California Physical Therapy license or eligibility to secure licensure.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a commitment to providing patient-centered care.
• A proactive and engaging approach to rehabilitation, demonstrating empathy and communication skills to build trust with patients.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a physical therapy setting, particularly in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, particularly WebPT, is preferred.
• Experience in developing and implementing evidence-based therapy protocols for diverse patient needs.
