Job Summary
The E-Commerce Growth Manager is a key growth role within Luxor's e-commerce organization, responsible for driving marketplace channel performance and scaling digital revenue, with a primary emphasis on Amazon. This position is designed for someone deeply fluent in marketplace mechanics-analyzing performance signals, understanding platform algorithms, monitoring competitive shifts, and pursuing new opportunities to improve discoverability, conversion, and market share.
The ideal candidate brings deep Amazon expertise (1P and 3P preferred), strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to translate insights into structured, actionable growth strategies. They will uncover opportunities, diagnose performance issues, and build data-supported plans that accelerate Luxor's presence across key online marketplaces.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Serve as the day-to-day growth owner for Amazon (primary), Target, Walmart, and Wayfair within the e-commerce channel portfolio, ensuring each marketplace is optimized for visibility, customer engagement, and revenue.
  • Proactively evaluate and identify additional marketplaces or emerging commerce platforms that present incremental revenue opportunities, including building business cases and leading expansion planning.
  • Continuously monitor marketplace performance-ranking shifts, algorithmic changes, competitive actions, category trends, and customer behavior-to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Conduct comprehensive competitive analysis to spot positive and negative trends, informing action plans designed to course-correct performance, seize market share, and uncover competitor gaps.
  • Identify burgeoning and adjacent product categories to inform long-term product roadmapping and assortment expansion strategies.
  • Improve organic visibility through strategic keyword refinement, backend attribute optimization, variation structure enhancements, A+ content improvements, and best-practice adoption aligned with Amazon's ranking logic.
  • Build data-driven, clearly articulated strategies and tactical roadmaps outlining opportunities, expected outcomes, supporting data, resource requirements, and timeline considerations.
  • Oversee marketplace merchandising initiatives including Brand Store updates, category page optimization, cross-catalog linking, seasonal opportunities, and hero-product programming.
  • Maintain catalog health across all marketplaces-fixing suppressions, correcting data structure issues, improving imagery, enhancing PDP content, and ensuring retail readiness.
  • Partner with the E-Commerce Operations Manager on forecasting inputs, inventory visibility, replenishment planning, and backlog resolution to maintain strong in-stock rates and minimize lost sales.
  • Collaborate with the E-Commerce Specialist on execution of content updates, A+ enrichments, and Brand Store enhancements.
  • Assist in vendor and agency management, including coordinating deliverables, aligning on marketplace strategy, evaluating partner performance, and ensuring agency output supports Luxor's revenue and optimization goals.
  • Work closely with internal teams and agencies to synchronize marketplace growth initiatives with advertising strategies, promotional planning, and broader digital objectives.
  • Maintain and improve reporting frameworks, dashboards, documentation, and SOPs to support scalable marketplace management and predictable performance rhythms.

Job Requirements
Skills and Abilities Required:
  • Deep expertise in Amazon marketplace best practices, including organic ranking factors, content optimization, retail readiness, variation architecture, and conversion drivers.
  • Hands-on experience managing both Amazon 1P and 3P environments, with an understanding of their operational, pricing, and strategic differences.
  • Strong analytical capabilities-able to interpret marketplace data, identify root-cause performance issues, and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Exceptional competitive awareness: ability to benchmark competitors, identify category shifts, recognize early-stage trends, and discover white-space opportunities.
  • Proven ability to build cohesive growth strategies supported by data, modeling, and clear communication that internal teams can easily understand and implement.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail; comfortable managing a large SKU mix, multiple projects, and continuous optimization initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills across Operations, Marketing, Sales, Product, IT, and agency partners.

Education and Experience Required:
  • 3-5 years of direct marketplace management experience, with Amazon expertise required.
  • Experience with marketplace analytics tools such as Helium 10, JungleScout, Keepa, or comparable platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, E-Commerce, Analytics, or a related field preferred.
