Job Summary
Pay Range: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M., weekend work depending on business needs
Onsite Location: 14035 Industrial Rd., Houston, TX 77015
This role supports daily operations by creating schedules, managing timekeeping, and coordinating with payroll to ensure accurate records. It requires clear, courteous communication, strong Excel skills, and the ability to gather and share information effectively while maintaining confidentiality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Communicate clearly in writing and verbally, delivering concise information and instructions while effectively eliciting details from individuals with different levels of understanding
• Obtain and provide information clearly and courteously
• Enter vacation and other time off related request for all team members that are sent in
• Daily timekeeping and work with payroll to ensure timecards are accurate
• Create daily schedules to support operations
• Use Microsoft Excel for various reports
• Maintain a thorough understanding of Watco Greens Port's operating capabilities and processes to ensure accurate and efficient daily scheduling
• Maintain confidentiality
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and be able to pass and/or obtain all reporting, testing, and certifications as required for this position and location. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
• 1 year of Kronos/UKG experience strongly preferred
• 2+ years of experience in an office clerical position utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, and database software required
• Prior experience in customer service preferred
• Bilingual is strongly preferred
• May be required to work overtime and weekends
• Valid Driver License preferred
• Valid TWIC- Transportation Worker Identification Credential or the ability to obtain and maintain one
Education
High School or GED equivalent
