Job description

Now Hiring a Trainer - Waste Industry Business Systems for our Tri-State Region!
Working within the Business Systems Team, the Waste Pro Regional Trainer - Business Systems will develop a sound knowledge of current corporate systems and applications. The Waste Pro Regional Trainer - Business Systems will work with regional managers, division managers and end users to better help them understand system applications and how they relate to business requirements for changes, new projects, financial closings, municipal solid waste startups, initiatives and developments. In addition to defining system requirements focusing predominantly on PC Scale and Tower software.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
The Waste Pro Trainer - Waste Industry Business Systems will:
* Develop a sound knowledge of current corporate systems and applications.
* Train regional management teams and end users on system applications by person or virtually.
* Support and administer existing corporate systems focusing predominantly on PC Scale and Tower software.
* Ability to meet deadlines and set priorities with effective distribution of time and effort.
* Must have revenue accounting understanding and be able to make general ledger journal entries *Experience and knowledge working with SAP preferred.
* Ability to work independently or within a team setting
* Ability to lead and train others
* Critical thinking aptitude with the ability to analyze data and formulate conclusions and recommendations
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to prepare written reports, correspondence and presentations to senior leadership and ability to lead
* Superior written and oral communication skills combined with above average organization, interpersonal, listening, presentation and problem solving skills
* Professional demeanor and ability to function with the utmost honesty and integrity.
* Proficiency in using array of software packages, including MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
* Strong customer orientation is essential
* Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment and switch between projects
Education and Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the solid waste industry
    BA or AA and combined experience preferred.
  • Some travel required.
