This position sits at the intersection of Creative, Performance Marketing, E-commerce, and AI Search, translating product features and brand narratives into high-impact content that drives engagement, discoverability, and revenue growth.

Acting as the primary architect of TCL's product storytelling, this role ensures that all customer-facing content, from Product Detail Pages (PDPs) and retail displays to AI-generated search results, is optimized for clarity, consistency, and performance. The Product Copywriter brings deep expertise in e-commerce content, SEO/AEO strategy, and conversion-focused messaging, and can translate complex technical specifications into compelling, customer-centric value propositions.

This role is ideal for a results-driven writer who understands not only how to craft compelling copy, but how to optimize content ecosystems, influence purchase decisions, and position TCL products effectively across the modern digital and AI-driven discovery landscape.

Content Development & E-commerce Execution

  • Develop and execute high-impact product copy across all major e-commerce platforms, including Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, Target, and key retail partners.

  • Ensure all content aligns with platform-specific requirements, formatting standards, and conversion best practices.

AI & Search Optimization (AEO/GEO)

  • Develop and structure content to maximize visibility across AI Answer Engines (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini) and traditional Search Engine Results Pages (SERP).
  • Apply SEO, AEO, and GEO best practices, including keyword strategy, metadata optimization, and structured content frameworks.
  • Continuously monitor search trends and refine content strategies to improve discoverability and ranking performance.

Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) & Digital Content

  • Write and optimize copy for TCL.com, including homepage messaging, category pages, landing pages, and promotional content.
  • Ensure consistent brand voice and messaging across all owned digital channels.
  • Support campaign launches with cohesive, conversion-focused digital storytelling.

Lifecycle Marketing & Retention

  • Develop high-performing email marketing campaigns, including promotional sends and automated lifecycle flows (e.g., onboarding, education, retention).
  • Optimize messaging to drive engagement, repeat purchase behavior, and long-term customer value.

Retail & In-Store Experience

  • Create compelling copy for physical retail environments, including in-store displays, signage, and product packaging.
  • Ensure messaging functions as a "silent salesperson," clearly communicating value propositions in limited space.

Paid Media & Social Content

  • Develop short-form, high-impact copy for paid media channels, including social (Meta, TikTok), search (SEM), and video (YouTube).
  • Collaborate with performance marketing teams to align messaging with campaign objectives and audience targeting strategies.

Instructional Content & Customer Experience

  • Translate technical product features into clear, user-friendly instructional content, including Quick Start Guides and FAQs.
  • Reduce customer friction by improving clarity, usability, and accessibility of product information.

Performance Optimization & Content Operations

  • Leverage performance metrics (CTR, conversion rates, engagement) to continuously refine and optimize content.
  • Manage multiple content workflows across product categories, ensuring timely delivery and consistency.
  • Develop scalable, modular content structures that integrate seamlessly with design systems and digital platforms.

Qualification / Requirements:

Must Haves

  • 3+ years of professional copywriting experience across digital, e-commerce, and marketing channels.
  • 2+ years of experience in e-commerce content development, including PDP optimization for major retail platforms.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles, including keyword strategy, metadata structure, and search optimization techniques.
  • Experience leveraging Generative AI tools to scale content creation while maintaining quality and brand voice.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical product specifications into compelling, customer-focused messaging.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally across creative, marketing, and product teams.

  • Experience with Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies.
  • Familiarity with consumer electronics or technology-driven product categories.
  • Experience writing for retail environments, packaging, or in-store displays.
  • Knowledge of retailer-specific content requirements (e.g., Amazon A+ content, platform guidelines).
  • Background in lifecycle marketing, CRM, or email campaign development.
  • Advanced proficiency in content performance analysis and optimization using analytics tools.

Benefits:
