The Mechanical Engineering and Construction Management on the campus of Sacramento State is seeking to hire two student assistants to provide the Department of General Services (DGS), Division of the State Architect (DSA), with technical and scientific expertise to support the development of supplemental testing standards for detectable warnings. The supplemental testing standards will be a supplement to the AASHTO T-388-22 Standard Method of Test for Detectable Warning Systems. The supplemental standards will be designed to address California specific requirements with the latest available technologies which are not included in the T388-22 Standards.
