To thrive as a Phlebotomist, you need a solid understanding of venipuncture techniques, specimen handling, and infection control, typically supported by a phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program. Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS), blood collection devices, and safety protocols is essential.
