Responsibilities

21 bed inpatient unit with 3 providers on each shift seeing

8-12 patients per shift

Adult only unit (ages 17 and up)

Call schedule requirement

Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills

Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve

Provide the best outcome for every patient every time
Qualifications

PMHNP certification is preferred unless applicant has prior inpatient mental health experience as FNP

Strong preference for candidates with inpatient mental health experience as RN or NP

Hold an unrestricted license to practice in Iowa

Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
