    Summary:
    The Manager, Urgent Care Practice Operations, has the responsibility for overall direction, utilization, supervision and instruction of professional and support staff, volunteers and students utilized in the clinics and the development, implementation and monitoring of all Quality Management programs, policies, and procedures within the practice site of responsibility.


    Responsibilities:
    Manages the staff and business operations of physician and/or clinical practices. Delegates responsibility and commensurate authority to designated subordinates, and help oversee the responsibility and accountability for performance of staff.
    Maintains daily operations of practices within current budgeted operating expenses. Provides general supervision of the daily work of all associates resolving problems and providing direction, as needed (excluding medical provider staff)
    Supervises and reviews monthly report including revenue and patient activity to present to the physicians at monthly meeting. Supervises and directs departmental orientation of new staff in collaboration with clinical supervisor if applicable, ensuring staff familiarity with policies and procedures of clinic, the hospital, and the organization.
    Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget coordination. Resolves escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
    Develops and implements policies and procedures for the clinic as needed in collaboration with own leadership and in compliance with the general policies and procedures of the organization.
    Reviews metrics and monthly reports including QI, Safety, Infection Control, Exposure control, and Risk Management.

    Qualifications
    Required
    Active Driver's License and access to transportation.
    Five (5) years of experience working in a private practice and/or clinical office setting.
    Two (2) years of previous supervisory experience.
    Effective verbal and written communication.
    Experience working with standard desktop productivity suites such as Microsoft Office
    Experience or training with ICD9 and CPT coding.
    Experience or training with basic accounting principles
    High School diploma or equivalent
    Preferred
    Bachelor's Degree
    Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) as issued by the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA)
