Job description

THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT ON CONTRACT MODIFICATION

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

  • Perform Organizational and Intermediate, level maintenance on MV-22 aircraft onboard Marine Corps Air Station

DUTIES

  • Perform ACM II Flight Line duties
  • Provide maintenance support for O/I/D-Level scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to include documentation, troubleshooting, inspections, corrosion prevention/treatment, servicing, lubricating, adjusting and the removal and replacement of aeronautical components.
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of four (4) years of aviation maintenance experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of T/M/S maintenance experience
  • CDI qualification or the ability to obtain qualification required within 6 months of employment
  • Familiar with all publications relevant to the maintenance of the MV-22 appropriate to the assignment and have a thorough practical and theoretical knowledge of the equipment/systems.
  • Possess a thorough understanding or become familiar and proficient with NALCOMIS OOMA automated maintenance documentation system within 90 days of employment.
  • Must have the following certifications or qualifications, or the ability to obtain within 90 days from employment: Auxiliary Power Unit (APU); Blade Fold Wing Stow (BFWS); Brake Rider; Egress Certified
  • Must have the following certifications or qualifications, or the ability to obtain within 120 days from employment: Tow Qualified; ACU-20/M Air Compressor; 65A102-J1 Corrosion Cart; Fuel Surveillance, Flight Line (FL)
  • MATMEP Level III / T &R level 3000 (applicable systems) or greater for MV-22, or the ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
  • Preferred additional qualifications: Towing; A/M42-2A Light Cart; A/S32A-45 Tow Tractor; BT-400-46 Pre-Heater (or Equivalent); Flight Line Utility Vehicles.
  • Must be a US Citizen

  • May be required to operate power vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground support equipment, fork lift, etc.
