Location: Hatfield, PA onsite | Schedule: Monday to Friday | Employment Type: Full-Time
Position Overview
We are seeking an HR Generalist responsible for supporting a broad range of human resources functions for assigned warehouse operations. This role works closely with HR leadership and operational teams to support business needs, employee engagement, and workforce development across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment, Training & Onboarding
  • Support talent acquisition and recruitment processes, including:
    • Coordinating job postings
    • Reviewing resumes
    • Conducting background checks and pre-employment testing
    • Assisting with onsite interviews
  • Prepare offer letters and new hire documentation
  • Lead new hire orientation and complete onboarding tasks within HRIS systems (Ceridian/Dayforce)
  • Partner with Leads, Supervisors, Assistant Managers, and Managers to strengthen leadership capabilities
  • Coach and support warehouse associates at all levels to ensure productivity and performance standards are met

Performance Management
  • Assist with performance management initiatives, including:
    • Employee evaluations
    • Performance expectations
    • Corrective action and discipline processes
  • Support employee relations matters and partner with the HR Director on investigations
  • Conduct 90-day and annual employee check-in meetings
  • Conduct exit interviews and support job description reviews

Benefits Administration
  • Coordinate and facilitate onsite benefits meetings and initiatives
  • Partner with Payroll on payroll-related audits and employee matters
  • Support benefits administration and leave management processes
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment during eligibility periods and annual enrollment
  • Support unemployment claims and hearings in partnership with the HR Director

HRIS Administration (Ceridian/Dayforce)
  • Assist employees and managers with HRIS-related issues
  • Maintain and update employee information, including job changes and personnel updates

Additional Responsibilities
  • Assist with administration of on-site workers' compensation claims and communication with adjusters
  • Manage employee photo directories for assigned locations
  • Complete additional HR projects and responsibilities as assigned

Foster Company Culture
  • Organize and oversee team-building and employee engagement activities
  • Promote and model company core values
  • Serve as liaison for onsite celebration and engagement committees

Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Sociology, Business, or related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of related HR experience required
  • HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) preferred but not required
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
  • Experience supporting distribution center or manufacturing environments strongly preferred

Technical Skills
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with Ceridian/Dayforce preferred
  • Knowledge of:
    • Federal, state, and local employment laws
    • HR processes and procedures
    • Benefits administration
    • Recruiting coordination
    • Employee relations practices
