Job description

Title: Project Coordinator, Glazing

Location: Mississauga

Company: Triumph Group of Companies

Role Overview

The Project Coordinator, Glazing supports the Project Manager across the full lifecycle of commercial and residential glazing projects, from preconstruction through to close-out. You will help track budgets and schedules, organize submittals and shop drawings, manage project documentation, and keep communication moving between clients, general contractors, site supervisors, and suppliers. This is a development role, and the work is set up so you learn how a glazing project runs end to end with the goal of stepping into a Project Manager role within one to three years. The people who thrive here are organized, ask good questions, follow through without being chased, and want to grow into running their own projects.

What We Offer

  • Salary: Commensurate with experience
  • Comprehensive health and dental benefits
  • A clear development path toward a Project Manager role within one to three years
  • Hybrid work arrangement with regular site visits across the GTA
  • Company vehicle or mileage reimbursement for site travel
  • Stable, year-round work with a growing glazing division
  • Hands-on mentorship from experienced project managers and division leadership
  • Supportive leadership and a team that values direct, practical communication

What You Bring to the Table

Technical Skills

  • One to four years of experience in construction project coordination, administration, or a related support role; glazing or building envelope experience is an asset but not required
  • Comfortable reading architectural drawings, specifications, and shop drawings, or a clear willingness to learn
  • Working knowledge of construction project management software such as Procore, or strong general software skills and the ability to pick it up quickly
  • Solid skills in Excel and Microsoft Office for tracking budgets, schedules, and project documentation
  • Post-secondary education in construction management, civil engineering technology, or a related field is an asset

Attributes

  • You are organized and keep track of the details, so submittals, RFIs, and documents do not slip through the cracks
  • You follow through on what you take on and keep people updated without waiting to be asked
  • You ask questions when you are not sure, because you would rather get it right than guess
  • You communicate clearly and stay level-headed when a site issue or schedule change comes up
  • You want to grow into a Project Manager role and are willing to put in the work to get there

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Manager across the full lifecycle of commercial and residential glazing projects, from award through to close-out
  • Maintain project documentation including submittals, shop drawings, product data sheets, and project correspondence
  • Help build and update project schedules, and flag sequencing or timing issues to the Project Manager early
  • Track project costs against the approved budget and assist with purchase orders and variance reporting
  • Coordinate the RFI and change order process by logging items, chasing responses, and keeping records current
  • Communicate with clients, general contractors, suppliers, and site supervisors to keep information moving on the project
  • Coordinate material procurement and delivery schedules with suppliers to support installation sequencing
  • Attend site visits with the Project Manager and site supervisors to learn how installation, quality, and safety are managed in the field
  • Prepare project status updates and reports for the Project Manager and division leadership
  • Assist with close-out activities including deficiency tracking, final inspections, and documentation handover to the client
