MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Command and Control Operations Planner to join our team in Doral, FL.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Acts as a subject matter expert and is instrumental in the proactive planning and seamless execution of cybersecurity and IT operational activities, working in close collaboration with Government personnel
  • Directly supervises and is responsible for developing and maintaining the organization's operations plan, ensuring essential functions continue during disruptions
  • Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of IT operations, cybersecurity principles, and operational planning methodologies, who can effectively translate mission requirements into actionable plans
  • Responsible for the development and maintenance of comprehensive operational plans, both current and future, which align with Government objectives, including the identification and mitigation of potential risks
  • Provide real-time support for ongoing operations, monitoring performance and ensuring timely issue resolution, while simultaneously conducting strategic planning for future needs, and anticipating evolving threats and technological advancements
  • Serve as a liaison between Technical Teams and Government stakeholders, facilitating meetings, coordinating resources, and providing clear operational updates
  • Contribute to the development of operational procedures, maintain accurate documentation, and provide detailed reports and briefings, ensuring a clear understanding of operational activities and resource utilization

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field or 4 additional years of experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required bachelor's degree
  • 12+ years of experience with 7+ Seven years of position-specific relevant experience.
  • Direct experience in IT or cybersecurity operations, with a significant focus on operational planning.
  • Demonstrated experience working closely with Government staff in a cybersecurity or IT operational environment.
  • Proven experience in developing and maintaining operational plans and procedures.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Experience with incident response and crisis management. Knowledge of Government operational planning methodologies (e.g., Joint Planning Process).
  • Experience with specific tools used within the Government environment. Relevant certifications such as PMP, ITIL Foundation certificate, CISSP, or equivalent. Familiarity with relevant Government cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST).
  • Current Operations experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a Component down to an O-6 Level Command is desired. Operations and planning experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a Component down to an 0-6 Level Command is desired
  • Graduate of a military Intermediate Level School, Top Level School, and or a certified school trained planner school (e.g., SAW, MAWS, JAWS, WTI)

Clearance Requirements:
  • Must have an active TS with SCI eligibility.

Physical Requirements:
  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
