Job description

Town Pump is looking for a motivated and outgoing Store Personnel Manager to join our team. Town Pump is a growing company, with ever increasing opportunities for career growth.
As a Store Personnel Manager, you will:
  • make supervisory decisions that are consistent with Town Pump standards, policies, and procedures. Assist the manager in planning, leadership, organizing, and follow-ups in the areas of personnel.
  • set an exemplary example for co-workers in terms of professionalism, attitude, and teamwork in the areas of customer service and Convenience Store Operations.
  • effectively assist in prioritizing, organizing, delegating, and following up on personnel-related tasks.
  • recruit candidates using marketing materials and attend off-site functions such as job fairs.
  • utilize applicant tracking system for recruiting, monitoring job requisitions, accessing talent pipeline, reviewing/screening applications, and conducting background checks (criminal history waivers).
  • conduct interviews, conduct reference checks, and assist in orientation, and initial training of new employees.
  • retain knowledge of company history and benefits.
  • complete mandatory reading of the "Hire Tough-Manage Easy" book, review the "HTME" guide and "Tool Kit."
  • assist in the continued development of all employees to include timely LMS assignment completion. Utilize employee recognition tools, assist in staff scheduling, maintain employee performance reports, and enforce all company policies and procedures.
  • maintain documentation to assist store manager with retraining, disciplining, and/or recommendation of termination for problem employees.
  • maintain a valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
