Bon Secours Short Pump Primary Care in Richmond's West End is hiring a Family OR Internal Medicine Physician. Location: West Broad Street in the vicinity of Short Pump Town Center - accessible via I-288, I-64 and I-295.

    Located on a bus route. Area Amenities: Shopping galore, eclectic restaurant options, hotels, banks/ATM, grocery stores including Wegman's, car service Patients: Age 16 and up, average 18-23 per day after ramp-up period, 50% adult, 50% geriatric EMR: EPIC and MyChart for Telemedicine appointments The Care Team: 3 MD, 2 APC Practice Culture: Team Work. Our practice is a small family that works together very well, showing respect and kindness to each other and our patients.

    Expectations: A mature, professional experienced physician who comes in on time, closes charts in a timely manner per policy, has good communication and interpersonal skills, and works well with our great clinical nursing and support team. A true Team Player who will help when needed. We are outcomes focused and have high clinical standards for care.

    Schedule Details: Full time position, 36 clinical and 4 admin hours per week, Monday-Friday 5 day work week due to the demand for care. Our team shares after-hours call coverage in equal rotation - 1 week out of every 3 to 4 weeks - telephone call only. No narcotic refills after hours.

    100% outpatient practice, no hospital responsibility. Procedures: in-office basic women's health, suturing and removal as needed, I&D small wounds, mole/skin tag removal Medical Expertise: Experience and knowledge doing Medicare Wellness Exams, management of chronic illnesses like Diabetes, Hypertension, Asthma, other respiratory issues, Acute Care and sick visit. Patient Convenience: Point of care testing on site, EKGs done in practice, Lab and Xray are in the same building Support: Patient Services Representatives, LPN Clinical Supervisor, LPN/CMA support for each provider, Diabetes Educator in clinic, Nurse Navigator offsite.

    Other Details: Bon Secours is a 501(c)3 organization eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness Qualifications: Provider must have completed a U.S.-based Family or Internal Residency program, be Board Certified through ABMS/ABFM/ABIM/ABOFM, Must be authorized and eligible to work anywhere in the U.S., Practice requires experience as a primary care provider. Benefits and Compensation: Bon Secours Offers a very competitive base compensation and the opportunity to earn bonus based on wRVU Productivity, attainment of quality goals, and collaboration with APC's. 35 days of ATO annually is front-loaded, not accrued

    Medical/dental/vision/Rx/FSA benefits begin on first of month following date of hire. Company provided life insurance 2x Base, short/long term disability, malpractice/liability/tail coverage, additional parental time off, 403b retirement savings plus matching %, Supplemental Executive Retirement Program which is company funded. $25,000 Starting Bonus.
