Job description

Talent Corps is seeking dependable and hardworking Construction General Laborers to join our team in Austin, TX. This position supports skilled trades on active job sites and plays a key role in keeping projects running safely and efficiently. Ideal candidates are reliable, safety-conscious, and ready to work in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with site preparation and cleanup
  • Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
  • Operate basic hand and power tools
  • Support carpenters, installers, and other skilled trades
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and crew leaders
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site
  • Follow all company and OSHA safety guidelines
  • Perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, carrying, digging, and standing for extended periods

Requirements

  • Previous construction or general labor experience preferred
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs consistently
  • Reliable transportation to job sites in the Austin area or surroundings
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Must be punctual and dependable
  • Bilingual is a plus not preferred
  • Must have PPE and steel toe boots
