Talent Corps is seeking an experienced Client Workforce Manager to support one of our largest utility-scale construction projects with in Georgia. This is an on-site position responsible for managing Talent Corps' leased workforce while serving as the primary liaison between our employees and the client.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in workforce management, staffing, construction operations, or field leadership who enjoys working directly with employees and clients in a fast-paced construction environment.
Position Summary
As the Client Workforce Manager, you will serve as the primary Talent Corps representative at the project site. You will oversee all Talent Corps field employees throughout the project, ensuring they are properly onboarded, compliant, productive, and supported.
This position does not supervise the client's construction operations. Instead, you will manage workforce administration, employee engagement, compliance, attendance, and client communication to ensure exceptional service and project success.
Responsibilities
Workforce Management
- Serve as the primary Talent Corps representative on-site.
- Manage all Talent Corps leased employees assigned to the project.
- Conduct new hire orientations and employee onboarding.
- Verify employment documents and hiring compliance.
- Ensure employees have proper PPE, badges, and site access.
- Monitor daily attendance, headcount, and workforce performance.
- Address attendance issues and employee concerns.
- Coordinate new hires, replacements, and workforce demobilization.
- Perform regular employee check-ins throughout the workday.
- Maintain accurate employee rosters.
Client Relations
- Build strong relationships with client supervisors and project leadership.
- Attend daily coordination meetings when required.
- Communicate staffing requests with the National Recruiting Team.
- Resolve workforce issues quickly to minimize project disruptions.
- Provide staffing updates and workforce reports.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to both employees and clients.
Employee Relations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Talent Corps employees.
- Assist with payroll questions, per diem, transportation, and employment-related concerns.
- Coach employees and assist with performance management.
- Coordinate disciplinary actions with Human Resources.
- Promote a positive, professional work environment.
Compliance & Safety
- Verify employee certifications and required training.
- Ensure compliance with Talent Corps and client policies.
- Conduct PPE and safety observations.
- Report workplace injuries and assist with incident investigations.
- Coordinate post-accident testing and return-to-work procedures.
- Maintain current employment and compliance documentation.
Administrative Duties
- Review and approve employee timecards.
- Track new hires, transfers, terminations, and assignments.
- Maintain employee records and project documentation.
- Submit daily and weekly workforce reports.
- Monitor overtime and attendance trends.
- Assist with workforce planning and forecasting.
Recruiting Support
- Communicate current and future staffing needs to Talent Corps recruiters.
- Provide performance feedback on field employees.
- Recommend high-performing employees for future assignments.
- Help improve staffing efficiency through proactive workforce planning.
Qualifications
Required
- 3+ years of experience in workforce management, staffing, construction operations, or field leadership.
- Experience managing large hourly workforces (50–300+ employees preferred).
- Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Microsoft Teams.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to travel based on project assignments.
Preferred
- Staffing agency or employee leasing experience.
- Utility-scale solar or industrial construction experience.
- OSHA 30 Certification.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
