Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for patients referred by physicians, ensuring care aligns with each patient's unique needs.
  • Administer therapy sessions that may include manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to promote healing and restore function.
  • Document patient progress meticulously in compliance with legal and ethical standards, adjusting treatment plans based on ongoing assessments.
  • Engage with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and maximize therapeutic outcomes.
  • Consult and educate patients and their caregivers on exercises, strategies, and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery and prevent further injuries.
  • Promote a positive atmosphere through excellent customer service, fostering strong relationships with patients to empower them in their rehabilitation journey.
  • Meet established metrics for patient utilization and participation in ongoing training to optimize treatment effectiveness.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse population of patients facing various challenges, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports-related conditions. Our patient-centered approach emphasizes creating tailored treatment plans that resonate with each individual's goals and lifestyle. You will witness firsthand the profound impact of your work as patients progress from injury to recovery, often returning to their daily activities stronger than before.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution, preferably from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program.
  • Current and valid State License to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for patient interactions and comprehensive documentation.
  • Proficiency in word processing and electronic health record systems to streamline patient information management.
  • A commitment to building trusting relationships with patients, focused on helping them achieve their functional objectives.
Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting is preferred, with a strong background in managing diverse patient populations effectively. Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
