Front Desk AssociateSpringHill Suites by Marriott Tampa Downtown

Location: Tampa, FL 33602

Shift: PM Shift (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM)

Availability: Flexible availability required

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Front Desk Associate to join our team at SpringHill Suites by Marriott Tampa Downtown. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service to our guests, efficiently manage front desk operations during the PM shift, and contribute to a welcoming and smooth guest experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Check guests in and out using PMS systems, including Stay PMS and Marriott Power of M System.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and service recovery promptly and effectively.
  • Manage reservations, room assignments, and billing accurately.
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local area information.
  • Assist with multi-tasking duties including phone calls, guest services, and administrative tasks.
  • Stand for extended periods while maintaining a positive and energetic demeanor.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Qualifications amp; Skills
  • Previous hotel experience preferred, especially in front desk or guest services roles.
  • Proficient with PMS systems, specifically Stay PMS and Marriott Power of M System.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on service recovery.
  • Ability to multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible availability to work the PM shift from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
  • Ability to stand for long hours during the shift.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with SpringHill Suites by Marriott brand standards is a plus.
