Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: $25-$32/ per hour

Position Summary
The Fire Alarm Technician is responsible for installing, programming, testing, and maintaining fire alarm systems. This role supports projects that ensure safety, compliance, and reliability in commercial and industrial environments.
What You'll Do
Key Responsibilities
  • Install, program, test, and commission fire alarm systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project success
  • Work independently or collaboratively depending on project requirements
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records
  • Follow all safety standards and company procedures
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
  • Experience with commercial or industrial fire alarm systems
  • Experience with Fike or Potter systems preferred
  • Programming experience is a plus (training available for the right candidate)
  • Strong communication and basic computer skills
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet background requirements
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This is a field-based role that may include:
  • Working indoors and outdoors in varying weather and environmental conditions
  • Frequent use of tools, testing equipment, and electronic devices
  • Moving throughout active construction and industrial job sites
  • Climbing, bending, standing, walking, and performing physical tasks throughout the day
  • Occasional lifting of materials, tools, and equipment up to 50 pounds
