Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: $28- $36/ per hour- Lead and $32-$44/ per hour- Foreman

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Foreman or Lead Mechanic to join our commercial HVAC team. In this role, you will lead installation projects, mentor field teams, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
What You'll Do
Lead Mechanic
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the sheet metal trade
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and P&ID schematics
  • Strong ability to work independently and with a team

Responsibilities:
  • Provide hands-on leadership and support to field crews
  • Assist with project layout, installation, and system startup
  • Ensure projects stay on schedule from start through completion
  • Supervise and guide mechanics and apprentices
  • Install commercial HVAC sheet metal systems according to specifications
Foreman
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 8 years of sheet metal experience
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to interpret drawings and P&ID schematics

Responsibilities:
  • Lead fabrication, assembly, and installation of HVAC sheet metal systems
  • Manage daily jobsite operations and crew performance
  • Coordinate subcontractors and project schedules
  • Ensure quality, safety, and customer satisfaction at every phase
  • Build strong working relationships with crews, clients, and vendors
  • Supervise apprentices, mechanics, lead mechanics, and journeymen
General Qualifications
  • Possess essential hand tools for the trade
  • Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must pass pre-employment screening, including drug screen and background checks as required

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
This is a hands-on leadership role in a commercial construction environment. You can expect:
  • Work in indoor and outdoor environments with varying conditions
  • Frequent standing, climbing, bending, and lifting
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Occasional travel or extended driving between job sites
  • Exposure to construction materials, equipment, and jobsite conditions
