Position Overview

Sevita Health System is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a remote capacity. In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in providing therapeutic support and interventions to individuals in a detox center setting, leading them on their journey to recovery and improved mental health.

This position is fully remote, allowing you to provide critical support to patients from the comfort of your home. The role operates within the framework of a detoxification center, where you will collaborate closely with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and nurses. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Sevita Health System, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate patients' mental health conditions, strengths, and specific needs.
  • Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored to individual patient circumstances.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated and integrated treatment that enhances the recovery process.
  • Educating patients and their families on mental health diagnoses, treatment options, and medication management to foster understanding and adherence.
  • Facilitating individual, group, and family therapy sessions using diverse evidence-based practices.
  • Developing personalized treatment plans in conjunction with the treatment team, ensuring alignment with patient-driven goals.
  • Navigating and advocating within the complex mental health system on behalf of patients and families to uphold their rights and needs.
  • Leading psychoeducational groups, therapeutic sessions, and discharge planning meetings to ensure comprehensive care throughout treatment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clinical expertise will be directed towards patients facing substance use challenges, as well as co-occurring mental health disorders. You'll be instrumental in helping these individuals navigate the complexities of their recovery journey, providing the guidance and support they require to foster recovery and resilience while addressing their unique challenges.

Qualifications

To be a successful candidate for this position, you must have:

  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Tennessee.
  • A solid foundation in mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and crisis intervention strategies.
  • The ability to function collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience working in a detox center or related behavioral health settings will be highly valued. Additionally, familiarity with integrated healthcare models and experience conducting individual and group therapy sessions will enhance your candidacy.
