Job description

*Telecommuting role to be performed anywhere in the U.S.
Drive agility within PyTorch's upstream community collaboration cycles and across Red Hat's open source delivery model by streamlining contribution workflows, accelerating feedback loops, and fostering continuous integration of community and enterprise innovations.
What You Will Do:
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of engineering development and release practices to support process improvement and develop enablement materials.
  • Deliver Agile training and coaching virtually and in person to a highly technical audience.
  • Coach and empower engineering teams towards self-organization by adopting best practices across project planning including scheduling, monitoring, and reporting activities.
  • Support teams by gathering insights from agile metrics, such as lead, cycle time, burn down, cumulative flow to identify gaps and opportunities to improve the development workflow.
  • Partner with leadership to define OKRs, roadmap alignment, and release planning.
  • Serve as Agile coach for Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Engineering Managers.
  • Participate in status review meetings with project team members, product management, and internal customers.

What You Will Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering or related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related role.
  • Must have three (3) years of experience with: using Power BI and Tableau to create agile metrics dashboards that pull data from Jira, Confluence, and AWS to track delivery metrics and provide insights that support continuous improvement; leading Agile delivery of large-scale technical projects by applying Scrum, Kanban, or scaled Agile frameworks; utilizing GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure predictable release cycles and high-quality outcomes; leading engineers, architects, and technical leads in Agile and Lean practices using GROW and Situational Leadership models to boost team autonomy, accountability, and delivery effectiveness; and using JQL, Advanced Roadmaps, dashboards and PostgreSQL to track projects, manage dependencies, and provide engineering leadership with actionable insights.
  • Must have two (2) years of experience with: using Gtmhub (Quantive) to set and track Objective & Key Results (OKRs) that align engineering teams with strategy, measure outcomes, and ensure accountability; automating the tracking of upstream community contributions using YAML scripts and webhooks to streamline integration, improve visibility, and accelerate feedback loops; and maintaining RAID and risk registers using Smartsheet to track risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies, enabling early identification of blockers, timely escalation, and resolution.
  • Must have the following certification: ICAgile Certified Expert in Agile Coaching.

The salary range for this position is $118,600 - $195,680/year. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.
Pay Transparency
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat's compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
