Job description

Overview
RealPage is seeking a strategic, innovative, and results-driven Sr. Product Manager to help lead the evolution of our Renter's Insurance portfolio within the Resident Solutions business unit. This role collaborates with fellow product managers and SME's to define and drive the roadmap, strategy, and business performance of our insurance products, including platform capabilities, digital experiences, suite integrations, and acquisition funnels.
You will be responsible for driving meaningful growth, strengthening our value proposition, leveraging emerging technologies (including AI), and ensuring we continue to win in an increasingly competitive space at the intersection of proptech and insurtech.
This role is ideal for someone who combines strong business acumen with customer empathy, data-driven decision making, a passion for experimentation, and a deep desire to deliver category-leading products.
Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision
  • Develop and communicate the strategic product vision for offerings within the insurance portfolio aligned with the Resident Solutions strategic goals.
  • Identify new market opportunities, competitive threats, and partnership pathways to grow adoption and revenue.
  • Translate industry trends in insurance, e-commerce, proptech, insurtech, and AI into actionable product initiatives.
Roadmap Ownership & Execution
  • Own your product's roadmap from ideation through launch and iteration.
  • Prioritize features and enhancements using a structured approach informed by customer value, business impact, and technical feasibility.
  • Draft comprehensive Product Requirements Documentation consistent with RealPage standards that support optimal development velocity and minimize re-work.
  • Partner closely with engineering, marketing, design, operations and other RealPage product teams to bring solutions to market.
Experimentation & Optimization
  • Lead an experimentation culture using A/B testing, rapid hypothesis validation, and test-learn-iterate cycles.
  • Continuously optimize funnels, user experiences, and digital flows to drive conversion and retention.
Customer & Market Insights
  • Conduct client and resident interviews, analyze behavioral data, and mine operational and financial metrics to deeply understand user needs.
  • Represent the voice of both residents and property management stakeholders across the organization.
Business Performance & Accountability
  • Own KPIs including enrollment, revenue, churn, premium/policy, and customer experience outcomes.
  • Develop, tune and monitor performance dashboards and drive initiatives to accelerate growth.
  • Collaborate with finance, analytics, and channel partners to improve product economics and embedded distribution.
  • Analyze, triage and troubleshoot product issues impacting internal and external stakeholders including implementation, customer support, clients, residents and our insurance carriers.
Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Work collaboratively across Resident Solutions, insurance carriers, legal, marketing, and sales to ensure cohesive and compliant product delivery.
  • Provide clear communication, documentation, and alignment across RealPage business units.

Qualifications
Required
  • 4+ years of product management experience (preferably in fintech, insurtech, SaaS, or e-commerce).
  • Proven record of delivering successful products that drive measurable business impact.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Experience in experimentation frameworks, funnel optimization, and A/B testing.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence without authority.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort presenting to senior leadership.
  • Experience with SAFe Agile and Scrum
Preferred
  • Knowledge of insurance, renter's insurance, or related regulatory environments.
  • Experience in proptech or real estate technology.
  • Exposure to AI/ML-powered product features, personalization engines, or predictive analytics.
  • Understanding of underwriting concepts, risk management, or insurance operations.
Attributes of a Successful Candidate
  • Strategic thinker who understands the bigger picture and anticipates future trends.
  • Bias for action with a strong desire to win and grow the business.
  • Data-driven decision maker who thrives in a hypothesis-driven environment.
  • Customer champion who deeply values user experience.
