Job Description

We are seeking a Technical Service Representative (Metal Deco Ink) to work with us. This person will report to the Laboratory Manager for performance of assigned functions, and coordinates with branch Inplant Technicians.  The person in this role will be required to travel domestically up to 50%. As a Tech Service Representative you will be responsible for:

  • Performing Technical Service in local Lab or at customer locations
  • Performing color matches
  • Manufacturing and QC batches on-site at customer locations
  • Inventory management and record-keeping
  • Housekeeping, purchasing and other duties as assigned
Qualifications

To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:

  • Have a High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Must be able to pass a color vision test
  • Have the ability and willingness to travel
  • Be able to match colors effectively
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
  • Effectively communicate with peers and customers
  • Have excellent written, reading comprehension and basic math skills
  • Have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently

In addition to these qualifications, we will consider as a plus if you have:

  • Associate degree from 2-year college or trade school
  • Previous ink inplant experience
  • SAP experience and proficient with Microsoft Suite programs.
  • 3-5 years in the ink industry and experience in commercial printing
