    Position Overview

    With the guidance of the Field Sales Manager, the Territory Sales Representative assumes full responsibility for increasing market share and awareness in the designated territory and ensuring profitable retention of existing customers. Product offerings will include Raymond brand lift trucks, aftermarket service and parts for Raymond and non - Raymond equipment, service and replacement of industrial batteries, as well as other products relating to material handling, distribution & warehousing in general. The primary goal of the Territory Sales Representative is to seek new business relationships and close profitable sales while maintaining positive relationships with current customers. This includes establishing a consultative relationship with each customer targeted at mutual growth and profitability.

    Key Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

    • Identify all prospects in assigned territory and evaluate the potential and resources needed to develop a business relationship.
    • Develop and execute a territory sales plan which details strategy, required support/resources and a clear timeline for achieving sales objectives.
    • Analyze the customer's business and develop solutions to meet their specific
    • Develop in-depth product knowledge and effectively conduct equipment demonstrations as part of sales efforts in assigned territory.
    • Effectively sell offerings to include Raymond equipment, parts and service for Raymond and non- Raymond equipment, and service and replacements of industrial batteries, chargers and other related
    • Collaborate with other sales groups, such as Systems and Dock & Door, to understand and utilize the organization's full capabilities and product offerings.
    • Proactively build new customer relationships, while strengthening and maximizing value from existing customer
    • Maintain direct personal contact with all assigned accounts and respond to needs and requests in a timely manner.
    • Manage and understand the sales
    • Manage and maintain CRM program data with updated customer information, scheduling, and quoting

    Qualifications:

    • Industry knowledge is strongly
    • Prefer BA/BS in business, engineering, sales & marketing, or related field OR equivalent
    • Minimum 2+ years of successful sales experience in material handling or industrial sales related
    • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
    • Goal-driven mindset with a demonstrated ability to achieve targets.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation
    • Demonstrated attention to detail and energy to work in a dynamic, fast-paced
    • Strong time management and organizational skills required.
