Job description

Pay Range: $130000 - $140000/annum.ย  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:

  • Backlog Management:ย Define, prioritize, and maintain a transparent product backlog for Life Reinsurance features, focusing on maximizing business value.
  • Oracle IAA Ownership:ย Lead the functional configuration ofย Oracle IAAย to support IFRS 17 and LDTI, including Contractual Service Margin (CSM) calculations and net liability assessments.
  • Business Transformation:ย Partner with Finance teams to translate complex reinsurance treaty terms into actionable technical user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Data Integrity:ย Oversee data ingestion and mapping from source systems (likeย Oracle Insurance Policy Administration - OIPA) into IAA, ensuring high-quality financial data for reporting.
  • Agile Leadership:ย Lead Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and product demos, to ensure timely delivery of product increments.
  • Stakeholder Liaison:ย Act as the primary point of contact for senior leadership to align product roadmaps with corporate strategic goals and regulatory mandates.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Must have skills: - Agile, Product Owner, Oracle IAA
  • Domain Expertise:ย Deep knowledge ofย Life Reinsuranceย products, including proportional/non-proportional treaties, risk transfer, and data pipelines.
  • Oracle IAA Proficiency:ย Hands-on experience withย Oracle Insurance Accounting Analyzer (Oracle IAA), specifically in sub-ledger accounting and disclosure requirements.
  • Agile Methodology:ย 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or Technical Lead in an Agile environment.
  • Analytical Depth:ย Ability to analyze complex financial datasets and perform gap analysis between "as-is" and "to-be" reporting states.
  • Certifications:ย Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)ย orย SAFe POPMย is highly desirable.
