About The Role
In this critical role, you'll be the IT ambassador for manufacturing, owning and optimizing key applications that keep our plants running safely, efficiently, and compliantly. You'll blend business insight with technical expertise to improve processes, expand system capabilities, and drive continuous improvement across our manufacturing application landscape.
Key Responsibilities
  • Optimize software applications by leveraging your understanding of manufacturing processes and plant operations to enhance performance, reliability, and user experience.
  • Engage with business partners in Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering to understand their needs and translate them into effective system solutions.
  • Lead requirements and process design - Facilitate workshops, document current and future state processes, and identify technology-driven improvement opportunities.
  • Create clear documentation including functional specifications, system design documents, and user stories that guide technical delivery.
  • Configure and enhance systems - Define, document, and implement configuration changes aligned with business requirements, standards, and best practices.
  • Own the application roadmap - Identify capability gaps and technical debt, then refine roadmaps based on technology trends, business priorities, and user feedback.
  • Support projects by helping define scope, schedules, resource needs, and budget requirements for initiatives impacting manufacturing and supply chain systems.
  • Coordinate testing - Develop and maintain test scenarios, scripts, and data to validate configuration, integrations, and system performance.
  • Provide advanced support - Manage escalated issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate cross-functional efforts to resolve complex system problems.

Qualifications
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst supporting manufacturing systems in a CPG or similar large-scale production environment.
  • Experience providing application support within a large, complex enterprise landscape.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience gathering, organizing, interpreting, and presenting complex data to support decisions and process improvements.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and changing requirements.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a track record of working effectively with technical teams, plant operations, engineering, and leadership stakeholders.

Preferred Experience
  • Hands-on experience with systems that support manufacturing and supply chain operations, ideally in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
  • Deep expertise with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and how they integrate with plant automation/PLC environments and ERP platforms.
  • Working knowledge of related technologies and tools such as SCADA, ERP, and business intelligence/analytics solutions.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and methodologies such as ISA-95, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Statistical Process Control (SPC), and key production KPIs.
