Responsibilities
  • Manage daily inquiries from our policyholders regarding their current coverage and billing questions.
  • Process routine policy changes and updates with high attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure that every client interaction is handled with care and consistency.
  • Document client conversations thoroughly in our system so everyone on the team stays informed.
  • Assist in resolving minor claims issues by acting as a bridge between the client and the insurance carrier.
  • Review upcoming renewals and reach out to clients to ensure they still feel confident in their current protection.

Requirements
  • Active Property and Casualty Insurance License in Illinois.
  • Previous experience working in an insurance agency or customer support role.
  • Strong comfort level using computers, specifically with agency management software and email.
  • Ability to clearly explain complex insurance coverage options to people from all walks of life.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others solve problems.
  • Basic understanding of commercial and personal lines of insurance.
