Role Description

The Licensed Insurance CSR is a full-time, on-site role based in Imperial, MO. This position is responsible for assisting clients with policy questions, changes, and renewals, while maintaining accurate account information in agency systems. Daily tasks include answering incoming calls and emails, processing endorsements and payments, preparing quotes and proposals under the direction of producers, and following up on client requests to ensure timely resolution. The role involves explaining coverage details in clear, understandable language, identifying opportunities to improve client protection, and coordinating with carriers to address billing or claims issues. The Licensed Insurance CSR also supports office operations by organizing documentation, complying with regulatory requirements, and contributing to a professional and welcoming client experience.


Qualifications

  • Strong customer service skills, with experience in Customer Service Representatives roles and Customer Service delivery.
  • Ability to manage Customer Support interactions, maintain high Customer Satisfaction, and contribute positively to the overall Customer Experience.
  • Active property and casualty insurance license (or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe).
  • Previous experience in an insurance agency or related financial services environment preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain insurance concepts clearly.
  • Proficiency with common office software and agency management systems, and strong attention to detail in documentation and data entry.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a team setting, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize client needs effectively.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certifications in insurance or customer service are a plus.
