Job description

Chief Executive Officer Jacksonville, FL   Feeding Northeast Florida (FNEFL) serves 12 counties across Northeast Florida and works to ensure access to nutritious food for individuals and families facing hunger. Through a network of more than 428 partner agencies, schools, churches, and community organizations, FNEFL serves more than 101,000 neighbors each day. In 2025, the organization distributed more than 38 million pounds of food and engaged more than 14,000 volunteers in support of its mission. FNEFL recently opened a new 110,000-square-foot headquarters and distribution center, positioning the organization for continued growth and impact.   Feeding Northeast Florida is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead its next chapter of growth and community impact. Building on a strong foundation, an engaged Board, a talented staff team, and a trusted reputation throughout the region, the CEO will provide strategic leadership, oversee operations and finances, advance fundraising efforts, strengthen community partnerships, and serve as the organization's primary ambassador. This is a unique opportunity to build on FNEFL's momentum and help shape the future of hunger relief, nutrition security, and community resilience throughout Northeast Florida.   The compensation range for this position is $200,000-$260,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, the CEO will be eligible for a performance-based annual bonus and retention-based compensation plan.   The comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability insurance, a Health Savings Account, and a 401(k) savings plan.   How to Apply: If you want to lead this impactful organization, please confidentially submit a current resume and cover letter to Kittleman & Associates at https://www.kittlemansearch.com/opportunities/opportunity?id=7xufnktrxswzep11x6xy6d1x8w&title=CEO%2C%20Feeding%20Northeast%20Florida. The cover letter is an opportunity to showcase your passion for Feeding Northeast Florida's mission and your leadership experience in current or prior roles.   For best consideration, please submit application materials by September 28, 2026.   For more information about Feeding Northeast Florida, visit https://feedingnefl.org/.
