What You'll Get to Do

The Branch General Manager (BGM) is responsible for the overall success, growth, and management of CR Laurence service locations. The BGM will lead all aspects of branch operations, including sales, customer service, employee engagement, and profitability, while ensuring a seamless and exceptional customer experience. This role requires a strong focus on driving sales, strengthening customer relationships, and positioning the branch as a direct and trusted contact for the location. The BGM will leverage the CRL brand to build a high-performing team and foster a culture of safety, innovation, and customer satisfaction in a rapidly evolving and competitive business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Profitability & Leadership:
    • Full responsibility for P&L activities, ensuring alignment with financial goals and objectives.
    • Plan, organize, direct, and control all service center functions to achieve revenue and operational targets.
    • Establish a "safety-first" team culture, holding the team accountable to high standards of performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Experience & Sales Growth:
    • Actively drive sales by developing and executing programs, plans, and product launches to exceed revenue goals.
    • Conduct sales calls independently or with outside sales representatives to strengthen customer relationships and position the branch as a supplier of choice.
    • Build and nurture customer relationships, ensuring the branch serves as a direct point of contact for customers in the region.
    • Maintain a strong understanding of competitors and market trends, sharing insights to foster innovation and maintain market leadership.
  • Team Development & Engagement:
    • Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer service and operational efficiency.
    • Monitor and maintain employee satisfaction through regular performance evaluations, timely feedback, and salary reviews.
    • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that drives employee engagement and retention.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Optimize service center operations to ensure efficient task completion and superior service delivery.
    • Prepare business forecasts, budgets, and reports, using financial analysis to identify trends and address potential challenges proactively.
    • Consistently administer company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance across the branch.
