As a Territory Account Executive, Eastern Tennessee focused on small businesses (<100 employees), you’ll own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close. This is a high-velocity, high-activity role built for someone who loves the energy of short cycles, frequent wins, and a packed pipeline. You’ll be selling HCM and payroll solutions that make a real difference for small business owners, and you’ll do it with the backing of a team that genuinely wants you to win.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospect aggressively and build a high-volume pipeline of small business opportunities

• Drive a fast, efficient sales cycle — from first touch to signed contract

• Consistently meet or exceed monthly and annual revenue targets

•  Build trust quickly with owners, operators, and decision-makers at small businesses

•  Develop and sustain Broker and Partner referral relationships to fuel inbound pipeline

• Collaborate with SDRs, Sales Engineers, and Marketing to maximize deal velocity

• Accurately forecast and manage pipeline using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)

• Represent Netchex at industry events, community gatherings, and customer meetings

What We Are Looking For

• 3+ years of B2B sales experience, with a demonstrated track record of hitting and exceeding quota

• Experience selling to small businesses or in high-velocity, transactional sales environments

• A hunter mentality; you don’t wait for leads, you go find them

• Payroll, HCM, or HR tech experience is a strong plus — but not required

• Strong ability to build rapport fast and move deals forward without losing the human touch

• Comfort managing a high volume of opportunities simultaneously without dropping the ball

• Proficiency with CRM and sales engagement tools (e.g., Salesforce, HighSpot)
