Job description

Position Summary
We are seeking a Logistics Developer to support process improvement and operational excellence within a distribution center. This position develops and implements efficient logistics processes, improves operational layouts, will lead distribution center projects, and supports continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is process-oriented, proactive, organized, and comfortable working across departments to implement new processes and improve performance.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement logistics processes that improve efficiency, productivity, safety, and customer service.
  • Design and improve operational layouts to optimize material flow and internal distribution center processes.
  • Lead distribution center projects, including evaluating new investments, conducting pre-studies, and supporting implementation and commissioning.
  • Train employees on new processes, procedures, tools, and operational routines.
  • Collaborate with departments and distribution center teams to ensure effective communication and successful implementation of process improvements.
  • Establish performance measurement tools, benchmark operations, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Technology, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Experience or knowledge of ERP systems preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer systems.
  • Strong process improvement and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify opportunities and develop practical solutions.
  • Strong project management, organization, prioritization, and follow-up skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent English communication skills and the ability to train others, adapt to change, and work effectively in a multicultural environment.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to sit-down and stand-up on forklift
Schedule:
  • Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • 30-minute unpaid lunch break
Compensation:
  • $52,000.00 - $83,200.00 per year, based on experience
