Job Overview

Join our dynamic team at Midas as an Automotive Service Technician Apprentice and kick-start your career in the automotive industry! This paid apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience working alongside seasoned mechanics while developing essential skills in vehicle repair and maintenance. You will be actively involved in diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and supporting the service team to ensure our customers receive top-quality service. Responsibilities

  • Assist experienced technicians with vehicle repairs, inspections, and maintenance tasks
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to perform repairs and modifications
  • Conduct heavy lifting of parts and components safely during repair processes
  • Support the assembly and disassembly of vehicle parts as needed for diagnostics or repairs
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards at all times
  • Learn to interpret automotive schematics and mechanical drawings to troubleshoot issues effectively

Skills

  • Previous dealership or automotive repair experience is a plus but not required; eagerness to learn is essential
