JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the trouble shooting, repair, preventative maintenance, and general maintenance of all plant equipment to maximize quality production in a safe and efficient manner.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond to machinery service requests in a timely manner.
- Conduct preventative maintenance per the appropriate schedule.
- Ability to read blueprints and build simple parts to those specifications
- Fix, repair, and troubleshoot basic electrical problems.
- Perform welding tasks as needed.
- Adhere to 5S procedures as outlined.
- Participate as representative in meetings and committees.
- Work as a team member with others in groups to reach the most effective approach to solving problems.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma (or equivalent like a GED)
