As a Room Service Server at The Omaha Marriott Downtown, you will be responsible for delivering menu items directly to our guest’s rooms in a professional and timely manner ensuring total satisfaction.

What will you be doing?

·        Learn all menu items in food and beverage outlets and the proper garnishments to execute proper plate set-up.

·        Prepare trays and deliver to rooms.

·        Maintain complete guest satisfaction by maintaining Marriott service standards.

·        Check floors to be sure all trays and carts are retrieved.

·        Prepare and deliver guest amenities.

·        Maintain all cleanliness and sanitation of Room Service area along with personal hygiene.

What do you bring to the role?

·        Knowledge of food, beverage, and service standards, no previous experience required.

·        In-depth understanding of beverages and wines.

·        Familiarity with all menu items and their accompaniments and ability to memorize and promote menu items effectively.

·        Proficient in English for customer communication and understanding product instructions.

·        Capable of lifting and transporting up to 50lbs.

·        Knowledge of room service operations, staffing, and guest relations.

·        Strong multitasking and time management skills to maintain service standards.

·        Ability to obtain any government required license or certificate.  TIPS and Douglas County food handler certification required.
