The Director, Sales - Americas is responsible for leading commercial growth across North and South America for the Transportation & Logistics (T&L) Business Unit. This senior leadership role is accountable for revenue growth, profitability, new business development, strategic customer engagement, and overall commercial performance throughout the region.

This leader will direct the Americas Regional Sales, Inside Sales, and Field Application Engineering (FAE) organizations while aligning commercial and technical resources to accelerate pipeline growth, improve conversion, strengthen customer relationships, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

The ideal candidate will bring deep experience leading customer-facing organizations, driving profitable growth, developing executive-level customer relationships, and collaborating across Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Global Account Management teams to execute commercial strategies and expand market share.

About the Job - Key Responsibilities

Build & Accelerate Regional Growth

  • Growth Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute the Americas growth strategy aligned to T&L business objectives, driving revenue growth, profitability, and market share expansion.

  • Market Development: Identify and prioritize growth opportunities across OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, distribution partners, and aftermarket channels.

  • Business Development & Funnel Growth: Own regional funnel growth, opportunity development, and conversion performance while driving disciplined forecasting and opportunity management processes.

  • Multi-Technology Solutions: Drive adoption of integrated solutions that increase customer value and strengthen competitive positioning.

Strengthen Strategic Customer Engagement

  • Executive Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with key customers across the Americas region.

  • Strategic Account Leadership: Lead customer engagement activities that strengthen partnerships and support long-term growth.

  • Customer-Centric Culture: Champion responsiveness, service excellence, and long-term value creation throughout the customer journey.

  • Industry Representation: Represent Littelfuse at customer meetings, industry events, and executive forums.

Lead High-Performing Commercial Organizations

  • Sales & Technical Team Leadership: Lead and develop Regional Sales, Inside Sales, and Field Application Engineering organizations.

  • Talent Development: Drive succession planning, coaching, employee engagement, and leadership development initiatives.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Global Account Management teams to achieve business objectives.

Deliver Business Performance & Operational Excellence

  • Revenue & Profitability: Achieve or exceed revenue, profitability, growth, and strategic business objectives.

  • Forecasting & Analytics: Develop accurate forecasts and provide regular updates on business performance and market conditions.

  • Commercial Execution: Drive disciplined execution of pricing strategies, commercial initiatives, and business reviews.

  • Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitive activity, customer developments, and emerging technologies.

About You - Knowledge and Experiences

  • Commercial Leadership: Minimum 15 years of progressive sales, business development, or commercial leadership experience.

  • People Leadership: Minimum 7 years leading sales or customer-facing organizations with a track record of building high-performing teams.

  • Proven Growth Driver: Demonstrated success delivering profitable growth, exceeding business objectives, and expanding market share.

  • Customer & Market Expertise: Experience working with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, distribution partners, and strategic customers.

  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of transportation, automotive, commercial vehicle, off-highway, or related markets.

  • Commercial Acumen: Experience managing revenue growth, profitability, pricing, forecasting, and strategic customer relationships.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field required. MBA or advanced business degree preferred.

  • Technical & Solution-Selling Experience: Experience with technology-based products, Field Application Engineering, Product Management, Systems Engineering, and multi-technology solution selling is preferred.

  • Travel: Ability to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.

Salary Range:

$166,000 - $266,560

The salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
