Summary

Lidl US is searching for the next Analyst to join our IT - Store Support team! The Analyst - Store Support analyzes and optimizes existing and new store systems and processes, such as Point-of-Sale, Payment, Back-office, and store management systems. The role provides technical advice to other departments to support in implementation and on-going maintenance of the systems. This includes requirements gathering, specification, collaboration with external software suppliers, testing, documentation, and process modeling that enhance the entire organization.

What You'll Do

Essential Functions
Oversees and manages assigned project and/or departments data, ensuring it meets predetermined contractual or policy requirements
Conduct data entry and data management for various department projects
Assist with the development of training materials such as manuals, handbooks, presentations, diagrams, workflows, and project plans
Ensure high standards of quality, stability, and consistency of the IT system environment according to Lidl US' principles of administration and international guidelines
Prioritize issues and ensure they are resolved within the defined SLAs
Ensure issues are resolved within the defined SLAs
Work closely with colleagues, outside vendors, and a variety of end users to ensure system compatibility and user satisfaction
Oversee implementation of new systems including integrations and data migrations
Provide 2nd and 3rd level incident management, including on-call duties outside regular business hours
Translate needs, tasks, and goals of target audiences into creative concepts and functional software components
Other duties as assigned

What You'll Need

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Ability to operate in a multi-user high-pressure environment
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments while maintaining commitment to deadlines
Ability to explain complex IT concepts in simple terms
Ability to communicate with customers calmly and concisely
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Ability to work independently

Required Education, Certifications/ Licenses, Related Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computational Science, Business Administration
1-3 years of experience in a related field
In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience in related field will meet the education and related experience requirements listed above

Preferred Education, Certifications/ Licenses, Related Experience
Experience in the retail industry

Physical Job Requirements
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
