The Clinical Trainer leads through strong field presence, coaching Lead Clinicians (LCs), and directly intervening where performance gaps exist. This role is critical in ensuring that clinical excellence is consistently achieved across all locations—not just in isolated pockets.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Directly manages Lead Clinicians (LCs)
  • Provides indirect oversight and coaching support to Clinicians
  • Responsible for performance management, development, and succession planning for LCs
  • Partners with HRBPs and Sr. Clinical Partner (SCP) on talent decisions

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Clinical Oversight & Quality Execution

  • Own clinical quality, safety, and protocol adherence across all locations in the territory
  • Conduct regular site visits, audits, and observation rounds
  • Identify performance gaps and implement structured improvement plans
  • Reinforce clinical standards through real-time, in-field coaching

Leadership & Team Development

  • Manage and develop Lead Clinicians as the primary driver of clinic-level performance
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, coaching sessions, and performance reviews
  • Build leadership capability within LCs to ensure scalable coaching at the clinic level
  • Support succession planning and internal talent development

Training & Capability Building

  • Deliver hands-on clinical training for new hires and existing clinicians
  • Support onboarding, ramp-up, and ongoing skill development
  • Facilitate new treatment rollouts and training refreshers
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and address skill gaps

Operational & Workforce Support

  • Monitor clinic readiness, including staffing coverage, callouts, and clinician availability
  • Step into treatment coverage when needed to support operations
  • Partner with LCs and Location Directors to ensure alignment with patient demand
  • Identify and escalate operational risks or gaps proactively

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory, safety, and clinical standards
  • Verify credentialing, documentation accuracy, and audit readiness
  • Conduct audits and ensure corrective actions are completed and sustained
  • Escalate risks or compliance concerns to leadership promptly

New Clinic Readiness

  • Support clinical readiness for new clinic openings
  • Ensure clinicians are trained, credentialed, and operationally prepared
  • Provide opening support and post-opening stabilization

Talent Selection

  • Conduct clinician interviews to support hiring needs across the territory
  • Assess candidates for clinical competency, judgment, and ability to perform in high-volume environments
  • Clearly communicate role expectations, including pace, scheduling, and standards
  • Partner with leadership and HR to ensure consistent hiring decisions

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted RN license (NP or PA preferred)
  • 3–5+ years of clinical experience, with leadership or training experience preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in coaching, training, or developing clinicians
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to assess treatment quality and protocol adherence
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, multi-site environment
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to travel extensively (up to 100%)

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

  • Field-based role with up to 100% travel across assigned territory
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform treatments as needed
  • Frequent in-clinic work environment across multiple locations
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Occasional administrative responsibilities, including reporting and documentation
