Job description

Our client, a leading organization in the financial technology sector, is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer to join their team. As a Full Stack Java Developer, you will be part of the Software Engineering department supporting the Core Banking Deposits/Transaction Processing product area. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:Charlotte, NC (hybrid)

What's the Job?

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices and web applications using Java and Spring frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business needs.
  • Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including planning, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Implement and support API integrations, ensuring security, reliability, and performance standards are met.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives such as automation, modernization, and cloud migration efforts.

What's Needed?

  • 4+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Java and related technologies.
  • Proficiency in building and consuming REST/SOAP web services with XML and JSON.
  • Experience with Oracle databases and Agile development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and microservices architecture.
  • Strong understanding of secure SDLC practices and experience supporting high-volume production environments.
