As a Restaurant Supervisor you'll take charge of a diverse array of dining experiences, assisting in overseeing everything from the Society 1854 Restaurant, The Burdock and Bitters Lobby Lounge, In-Room Dining, Jewell on Capitol and the lively Pano Pool Bar. We currently have two open positions available an AM shift from 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and a PM shift from 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

What will you be doing?

        Able to perform all roles within the outlet, including server, cashier, and expeditor.

        Supervise staff, manage operations in absence of the manager, and assist with ongoing training to uphold standards.

        Interact positively with guests, promote hotel services, and resolve issues effectively to ensure satisfaction.

        Monitor food preparation and service to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to time quotes and standards.

        Oversee inventory, control payroll and equipment costs, and maintain outlet profitability.

        POS system for billing and reporting; maintain house bank and manage financial transactions accurately.

        Enforce sanitation and cleanliness across all areas; uphold a professional appearance and ethical conduct.

        Implement sales incentives, track competition, and stay informed on hospitality trends.

What do you bring to the role?

        Must read and speak English fluently to understand guest requests and communicate effectively, especially under pressure.

        Prior restaurant and hospitality experience required; bartending experience is required.

        Understand room service operations, including staffing, service equipment, and guest relations.

        Handle complaints professionally, demonstrate empathy, and provide timely, effective solutions.

        Supervise staff using Marcus and Marriott standards, motivate independent workers, and track shopper reports for improvement.

        Monitor hotel floors for tray management and ensure timely room service deliveries.

        Efficiently manage multiple tasks, including handling several phone lines simultaneously.

        High school diploma or equivalent required.

        Ability to obtain any government required license or certificate. Bartending certificate preferred. TIPS and Douglas County food handler certification required. CPR certification and/or First Aid Training preferred.
