DESCRIPTION
Holiday Inn Baton Rouge South managed by Janus Hotels and Resorts is looking for a dynamic and high performance Sales Manager.
Implement and direct property sales activities in accordance with Marketing Plans.
Coordinate with other departments to maximize customer satisfaction and overall profitability.
Assist in development of weekly, monthly and annual sales goals.
Assist in the preparation of the budget and to ensure assigned area operates within cost guidelines .
Develop data and recommends programs to meet clients meets.
Negotiate with clients to achieve maximum profit.
Review accounts to maintain a proper flow of information within the hotel.
Develop/execute package plans, special sales activities, promotions, public relation activities.
Coordinate with Banquet Manager to assist with functions and to ensure smooth operations for all events.
Follow up/ contact with clients to ensure no communication gaps for all groups, events and sharing with other departments for a well - preparation before and after.
Perform all accountabilities in a timely and efficient manner.
Perform other related and unrelated tasks assigned by upper management.
Attend all training courses per Franchise and company's requirement.
REQUIREMENTS
- Require knowledges, skills and ability in hotel/resort salesRequire management skills Including effective communication skillsBasic Microsoft Office Skills requiredWilling to travel for sales related tasksSome lifting, walking and standing may be requiredBe nice and professional.
