Learning Administrator | Location: Dallas, TX (Onsite)
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Overview
GP Strategies is seeking a Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator to join our team in Dallas, TX. This full-time position is responsible for administering and supporting our client's learning platform while providing training coordination and onsite learning support. The LMS Administrator will work closely with learners, instructors, and key stakeholders through support tickets, intake requests, meetings, email communications, and onsite interactions to ensure the successful delivery of learning programs and an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with global internal teams on projects, meetings, and learning initiatives, with flexibility to accommodate occasional schedule adjustments.
  • Provide customer consultations and recommend LMS configuration solutions tailored to business requirements.
  • Perform day-to-day administration of an Oracle-based Learning Management System, including course management, offerings, certifications, user enrollments, and roster management.
  • Maintain and create knowledge base documentation within Confluence, including processes, procedures, and LMS functionality.
  • Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries and develop effective solutions.
  • Proactively identify system issues, process inefficiencies, and areas for improvement through root cause analysis and solution implementation.
  • Upload, publish, test, and troubleshoot e-learning content and source files, collaborating with internal teams and clients as needed.
  • Provide producer support for virtual learning sessions across global audiences.
  • Support daily operational activities, including reporting, responding to client inquiries, and tracking deliverables and deadlines.
  • Manage issue escalation processes, ensuring thorough documentation, communication, follow-up, and lessons learned are captured.
  • Maintain the integrity and accuracy of learner records, user accounts, and client data.
  • Recommend best practices for course setup, permissions, file structures, and program administration.
  • Assist with process audits, regression testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in LMS functionality, enhancements, and new feature releases.
  • Support instructors, facilitators, and learners before, during, and after training events.
  • Provide onsite support for learning programs and training events as required.

Required Experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in Learning Management Systems (LMS), training administration, and/or customer support.
  • Experience following complex processes with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience troubleshooting technical issues and resolving customer concerns.
  • Experience documenting processes, procedures, or work instructions.
  • Familiarity with virtual meeting platforms such as Webex, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet.
  • Understanding of performance metrics, service levels, and customer support best practices.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and collaboration tools, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint.

  • Familiarity with Confluence or similar knowledge management platforms.
  • Knowledge of e-learning content management and publishing processes.
  • Experience in learning operations, training coordination, or learning technologies.
