What you’ll do:
  • Perform preventative maintenance on generators.
  • Diagnostics and repairs of mechanical and electrical systems on generators.
  • Service/repair generators, change air filters, change oil, check battery levels, check spark plugs, etc.
  • Involved in installation hook-up of home standby generators.
  • When necessary, provide after-hour emergency troubleshooting/repairs.
  • Work independently or with a small crew.

What you’ll bring:
  • 2+ years working on generators in the residential or commercial setting.
  • Air/liquid cooled certificate is preferred. (Generac, Kohler, Briggs and Stratton, Cummins, etc..).
  • Small engine repairs.
  • Basic electrical knowledge.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently.
  • Valid driver’s license.
