Overview

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) has an exciting opportunity for a Digital Enterprise Supervisor to support TOS II at Arnold Air Force Base, TN. The Digital Solutions/Enterprise Supervisor will oversee a team dedicated to developing and maintaining digital solutions that support AEDC's ground test data infrastructure, facility operations, and business systems. This role is focused on ensuring that team projects are executed safely, on schedule, and within budget, while meeting all quality and performance objectives. The Supervisor reports to the Digital Enterprise Branch Manager and acts as a key interface for project status and team performance.

This position is open to both internal and external candidates. The selected candidate may occasionally be required to work outside normal business hours for system upgrades and other critical activities.

Job Summary

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) is the U.S. Air Force's chosen partner for Test and Operations Sustainment at the Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC). AEDC is a vital national resource, operating a suite of world-class aerodynamic and propulsion test facilities. Its mission is to conduct developmental test and evaluation for the Nation through advanced modeling, simulation, and ground and flight testing. This requires a dedicated team of professionals from diverse technical fields.

BNH is seeking a Digital Enterprise Supervisor to guide a team of technical experts in supporting and advancing the digital capabilities at Arnold Air Force Base.

Job Duties:

  • Supervise a multi-disciplined team of project engineers, data engineers, AI engineers, engineers, project analyst, and support staff in the development and maintenance of Digital Enterprise systems.
  • Support the branch's digital transformation roadmap by leading the execution of key projects and initiatives.
  • Advise on emerging technology trends and their potential application to current and future projects.
  • Ensure the team understands and complies with Air Force instructions and the deliverables outlined in the TOS Performance Work Statement (PWS).
  • Assist in analyzing customer requirements and determining the necessary contractor workload and staffing levels.
  • Oversee project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and alignment with financial targets.
  • Support Air Force customers in prioritizing technology projects and modernization requirements.
  • Promote a world-class safety culture, integrating an injury-free environment strategy with a focus on system reliability and data integrity.
  • Provide technical direction and supervision to staff on projects involving data solutions, enterprise solutions, artificial intelligence/machine learning and software solutions.
  • Report on the technical and financial status of projects to customer and contractor management.
  • Assess operational incidents and system mishaps, ensuring root cause analyses are conducted and corrective actions are implemented.
  • Evaluate employee performance and provide annual reviews and ongoing feedback.
  • Foster a work environment based on openness, trust, communication, teamwork, empowerment, and innovation.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the team.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with company policy and supervisory direction, including wearing appropriate PPE.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • B.S. degree in an engineering, business management, or computer science field of study.
  • Grade 08: 5 years of progressive IT/Data/Business work experience; In lieu of degree 9 years of IT/Data related experience.
  • Grade 09: 8 years of progressive IT/Data/Business work experience; In lieu of degree 9 years of IT/Data related experience.
  • Current U.S. Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience promoting a proactive safety and security culture in a complex technical environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of modern data systems, enterprise software, and applications of data science.
  • Demonstrated ability to critically evaluate complex digital systems, software architectures, and data platforms.
  • Prior supervisory experience in digital engineering, data analytics, or software development, preferably in a test or industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of major industry or regulatory standards (e.g., CMMC, RMF) pertinent to data systems and software development.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with experience presenting to leadership and government customers.
