Position Summary

This position is responsible for entering Duke Energy's land rights into Tririga LIM (Duke's Land Inventory system) and document imaging into FileNet. This position will develop and prepare reports for management, business units and other regulatory needs by using multiple technology systems to produce the information. The incumbent will provide information on real estate records and assets on a weekly, monthly, yearly and as needed basis.

Required/Basic Qualifications
  • High School Degree OR GED

  • 1 year of related work experience

Responsibilities

Performs data management for the Real Estate function

  • Proficiently and accurately enters land right data into Tririga LIM and possesses the ability to understand land right documents to determine Duke Energy's property interest.

  • Supports the proper records management for Real Estate transactions

  • Enters the Distribution Right-of-way easements in GISMO

  • Follows the business rules and processes and procedures

  • Develops and prepares reports for management, business units and other regulatory needs by using multiple technology systems to produce the information.

  • May provide some assistance and research support to the Research Specialists

Maintains data in the Real Estate Asset Inventory

  • Maintains the data integrity of Duke Energy's 100 plus years of real estate records

  • Supports all Data and Document Management work management/tracking in our Real Estate asset inventory database

  • Ensures data integrity of database

  • Archives and retracts records according to Duke Energy's records retention guidelines using the Record Center Application (RCA).

  • Participates as needed in process design, verification and audit reviews

Communicates and interfaces with internal Land Services team

  • Interfaces and coordinates with Land Agents, Research Specialists, and other Data Management Specialists.

  • Supports and communicates with the Land Services group to initiate, close and analyze land and property rights transactions into Duke's land inventory system (Tririga LIM).

Desired Qualifications
  • Experience managing land rights and property data

  • Experience working in any of the following data management systems: Maximo, Tririga LIM, or CastPro

  • Data management experience at a Utility OR at Duke Energy Corporation

Additional Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office computer applications

  • Excellent organization, data accuracy, attention to detail and time management and work management skills

  • Reading comprehension, critical thinking, and active listening skills

  • Proven self-motivated and possessing a strong work ethic

  • Beginning knowledge of Duke Energy business practices and business values

  • 2 years direct experience in data management

  • Basic knowledge of electric transmission and distribution systems.

Working Conditions
  • Hybrid Mobility Classification - Work will be performed from both remote and onsite locations after the onboarding period. However, hybrid employees should live within a reasonable dailycommute to the assigned Duke Energy facility.
