Job Title: Assembler
The Impact You'll Make
Danfoss in Easley, SC is seeking a 3rd shift Assembler to oversee the complete assembly process within a designated cell, from initial setup through final testing. This role operates Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with opportunities for overtime.
Employees are eligible for benefits on the first day of employment which include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, annual bonus program, paid parental leave for birthing and non-birthing parents, a great working environment including 100% climate-controlled facility and much more! Danfoss offers 3 weeks paid PTO accrued over each bi-weekly paycheck plus 13 paid holidays including annual paid shutdown week between Christmas and New Year's. What You'll Be Doing
  • Load and position valves into assembly fixtures with precision. Transport valves to designated workstations efficiently.
  • Ensure production targets are consistently achieved. Immediately notify the supervisor of any assembly supply shortages.
  • Carefully interpret and adhere to instructions from engineering blueprints, work instructions, and Engineering Test Orders.
  • Skillfully operate assembly and torque tools. Inspect defective valves and conduct repairs to meet required specifications.

What We're Looking For
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Candidates should demonstrate basic math proficiency and strong reading and writing skills.
  • The role requires the ability to stand for extended periods and frequently lift up to 50 lbs. good motor skills are essential.
  • Mechanical aptitude and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes are necessary. Experience with TPM and SMED methodologies is preferred.
