Responsible for the operation of paramount printing and packaging machines to produce high-quality products according to customer specifications.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Sets up and operates machine as required
- Verifies that equipment is ready for operation and that necessary supplies are available
- May perform general equipment maintenance procedures
- Troubleshoots job/machine problems or failures, as needed
- Routinely loads feeders
- Fills out required paperwork including quality documents; initial inspection, in-process, and final inspection sheet.
- Identifies material with poor quality and seeks assistance if needed to correct
- Watches product to ensure mag strips are applied in the exact location required, stopping machine and adjusting as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous machine operating experience; one year
- High mechanical aptitude
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time
- Lift, move, push or pull up to 50lbs
Elementary English proficiency communication skills necessary
Meet physical requirements:
- Stand for long periods of time.
