Position Overview
The Sr. Manager - WasteX is a critical leadership role responsible for directing the people, processes, and strategic operations of our high-performing WasteX program. This elite leader will oversee an expanded organizational structure, driving high caliber customer service, compliance, data integrity, and operational excellence for our premier clients.
As a master of people and process optimization, you will ensure the flawless execution of the WasteX Pillars while maintaining top tier customer relationships. Beyond process management, your primary passion will be investing in people-building a unified, accountable team culture, mentoring emerging leaders, and establishing scalable infrastructure to support Conservice's and WasteX's rapid growth.
Key Responsibilities
  • Executive People Leadership: Directly oversee and elevate a multi-tiered team structure, expanding with the growth of a dynamic program.
  • Process & Logistics Optimization: Drive elite execution of the end-to-end operational workflows for WasteX, ensuring 100% accuracy and satisfaction.
  • Strategic Team Development: Champion a culture of high performance; design, implement, and monitor robust professional growth and performance development plans to coach and mentor team members into future leadership roles.
  • High-Stakes Client & Stakeholder Management: Serve as the senior client-facing escalation point and trusted advisor for strategic accounts, aligning WasteX initiatives with high-level client goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Directors, Senior Vice Presidents, and HR partners to spearhead department-wide initiatives and optimize workforce planning.
  • Scalable Architecture & SOPs: Architect, implement, and continuously audit scalable best practices, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and automated tools to streamline complex workflows and improve data transparency.
  • Risk Mitigation & Milestone Oversight: Proactively monitor critical paths for major compliance milestones, deploying rapid-response strategies to mitigate risks, bottlenecks, or delays before they impact clients.

  • Process Mastery: Demonstrated expertise in complex logistics, project management, and cross-functional process optimization with a strict eye for risk mitigation.
  • Industry Knowledge: Working knowledge of waste and sustainability operations.
